I still have a model B747-400ER presented to me by Boeing at the time and a painting of the three B747X aircraft on offer to QF in the same evaluation. (Became the B747-8). Airbus won that part with the A380. Interesting story about how the A380 won that competition and how QF finished up with the only 6 B747-400ER's produced!”
