FINAL FLIGHT
After nearly 50 years in Qantas service, the iconic Boeing 747, “Queen of the Skies”, departed for the final time in July 2020 as the QF7474. To commemorate this momentous event we chronicled the departures of the final two Qantas 747-438ER flights; VH-OEE “Nullarbor” & VH-OEJ “Wunala”.

On October 10th, VH-ZND began its journey across the Australian landscape as the QF787. The aircrafts livery showcases the artwork of Northern Territory artist and senior Anmatyerre woman, Emily Kame Kngwarreye.
We travelled to the Northern Territory and photographed the aircrafts flyby of Uluru and Kata Tjuta
