Neil's 747 Story

30 September 1968: The first Boeing 747, City of Everett, was rolled out at Boeing’s Everett, Washington plant. It was registered as N7470, and carried Boeing’s serial number, 20235.
Identified internally as RA001, the Boeing 747-121 was the first “jumbo jet.”
N7470 made its first flight on 9 February 1969. It last flew in 1995. RA001 “City of Everett” is on static display at The Museum of Flight, Boeing Field, Seattle, Washington.

My fondest B747 moment and personal aviation enthusiast dream was viewing the original RA001 aircraft at “The Museum of Flight” Seattle and then joining the Boeing Factory Tour on 30th September 2018 Celebrating the “Queen of the Skies” 50th Anniversary.

Sorry if not a specific moment to the Qantas B747, but much aviation history / changes now to reflect in these challenging times.
