Simon's 747 Story
“Working in the travel industry, I have been lucky enough to enjoy a few Qantas 747 flights. They have brought me home safely every time, even through a typhoon flying out of Hong Kong.
In 1998, I was off on a work trip with some colleagues. One was in her early 20's and a real rev head, but had never flown anywhere. I still remember the look of delight on her face when the Captain throttled up those four engines for take off. That is still my favourite part of the flight too.”
